EMERGE! ‘Bloom Where You Are Planted’
A Season to Plant: BLOOM!
March 30th, 2022
Jeremiah 17:7-8, ‘“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.”’ (NKJV)
If you have been with me on this journey visiting plantations and gardens and storehouses, you have learned perhaps with me, the great potential and possibilities, as well as the dangers and snares, of good and bad seed, fertile and barren land, sowing and reaping. We have planted much and we have yielded a good harvest. We also have known the waste of seed choked out by weeds or stolen by seed-snatchers.
I want to be the blessed person who is planted where the waters run deep, where my roots can bury far below the surface, untouched by heat or drought. I want to be planted where I can be certain that Who I cling to when the storms come—and they will come—is the One Who planted me where His purpose for me fertilizes the soil in which I am planted, the One Who desires nothing more for me than to grow strong and sturdy and produce good fruit for His use. That’s where I want to be planted, and by Whom, and I want to BLOOM for Him.
One of the greatest things you and I can ever do is BLOOM where we are PLANTED. Beautiful things grow from the fertile soil of a willing heart.
