LadyBugs, let me be honest right here. You know that point in life where you are scared to move because you are afraid you are either going to miss what God has or you are going to mess something up? Well that is me. Right here, right now! It is a tough place to be and I can honestly this is the most difficult thing I have had to decide. This fork in the road is so dusty with doubt and fear. Which I know we are not suppose to be afraid, but when it affects everything about the home, we worry about making the right decision. See, one side of the fork is familiar. It is what I am accustomed to and it makes perfect sense to continue down this road. But the other side, oh how unfamiliar and uncertain this road is. There is very little about this road that I recognize as part of my life or who I am. Not only that, there are no signs as to what lies ahead. You know, those little indicators that we have so far to go before we reach this point or that area? Yep, there are none of those.
But let me tell you about this map I have. It is a wonderful map that shows me how to navigate these unfamiliar roads. It has rest areas and the greatest part is, it comes with a chauffeur. My own personal driver who will take me exactly where I need to be. But I have to trust Him. I have to allow Him to drive and navigate while I enjoy the journey.
See God wants us to go to new places with Him; consequently, we have to be willing to trust His decisions as to where we should be. Sometimes we stand at the fork when all we have to do is get in the car and go where God is taking us. It will probably be new territory and scenery, but the ride with Jesus is so beautiful.
