WEEK 1: One Simple Thing That Leads to a Big Breakthrough

Guest speaker Pastor Casey Kim delivers a powerful message of how we can see unimaginable works of God in our lives, which comes from first simply believing the Word of God. Even in the toughest times when everything Paul saw and felt went completely against what the Word of God said, he denied what he saw and felt, and he trusted only in the Word of God. Likewise, when we are able to put down what we see and feel and only believe in the Word of God, that living Word will work in us and shine brightly in our lives. That is how Paul was able to become one of the greatest apostles in the bible, if not the greatest—by simply believing only in the Word of God. It’s not about doing so many things, but simply believing one Word will change our lives in great, unimaginable ways.   Pastor Casey Kim is currently the senior pastor of the Good News San Jose Church. He is originally from South Korea and ministered there for five years. Then, he became a missionary in China, where he ministered for another four years. As many know, Christianity is prohibited in China, so he was caught preaching and got banned from China. Then, he moved to Hong Kong, where he ministered for one and a half years. After that, he came to the United States, and has been ministering for two years. He resides with his wife and three loving daughters in the San Francisco Bay Area.
