The saying is trustworthy for: if we have died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us, if we are faithless, he remains faithful- for he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:11-13 (ESV)

There is so much truth in the words of this passage of scripture. In a world where we are always told that it is okay to do something just because we think it will make us feel better. A society that prides itself on being able to do the “in” thing whether it is right or wrong. That is so far away from what God intended for us when He let His Son go to the Cross! This way of thinking and acting can lead people into the darkness of the world that does not know the love of Jesus on the Cross. This is a life of loneliness and death. When we give our all to be His disciple we find that we are alive and in the highest places with Him. Yet should we deny Him for the world, then He will deny us before the Father and when we turn from faith, He will still remain faithful to the promise of the Cross. How is it that He can stay faithful to us when we turn from faith and deny Him? He does it because that is what His love is about. He does it because that is what the Cross is about. He does it because He is faithful to the promises of the Father. How can we ever repay this kind of love? We can’t! But we can proclaim it and share it!
LadyBug these are the basic principles of enduring with faith. When we endure with faith, we are met with faithfulness. When we lay down ourselves, He picks us up. When we deny Him, sadly, He will deny us. Yet, when we are faithless, He will still remain. That is who He is!
Let us seek to be alive with Him in order to reign with Him. This is the true salvation of the Cross.
Much Love,
