30 Days of Gratitude

30 Days of Gratitude

Proverbs 31:17-18, ‘She wraps herself in strength, might and power in all her works. She tastes and experiences a better substance, and her shining light will not be extinguished (TPT).’

Day 12 * Just Grateful: Warmly or deeply appreciative of kindnesses or benefits received; indebted and beholden

God bless the mom who has proficiently become a professional juggler. She never thought, God, this would become one of her job descriptions. I doubt any woman laying in that birthing bath, breathing out the contractions, began to rattle off in her head that she needed to quickly certify herself in a course on juggling or take a class on physics so she understood the weight of the things she might be juggling. Like what weighs more? Her job? Homeschooling her children? How much does sleep weigh when the exhaustion paints her eyes closed? What about meals–and not the fast-food kind–we know how much they weigh! How much does a home-cooked meal weigh or the time in which to prepare it? What happens when Mom drops the ‘ball’ and what one can she afford to drop? It doesn’t seem like anything is expendable. So, God, please bless the mom who does not know where her strength is coming from…let it be from You. Motherhood is already a lonely place, so when she stands alone, help her stand tall and strong.

Psalm 50:23, ‘The life that pleases me is a life lived in the gratitude of grace, always choosing to walk with me in what is right. This is the sacrifice I desire from you. If you do this, more of my salvation will unfold for you (TPT).’
