You know that moment you just know you have to step out in faith because you have a word from God that you need to be doing something? Well, isn’t it comforting to know that we have a God who will always stand true to His word and His promise? I am so relieved to know that I don’t have to have all the answers. I don’t have to figure out how make everything work and fall into place so that all the bills are paid, and food is on the table. If I have the faith to just walk where He leads then I know that He will provide everything. I mean, He does take care of the sparrows right?
LadyBug, the more of the Word we know in our hearts, the more we hear God speaking. The more we know what He is speaking, the strong our faith is and the easier it is to just follow. God is such a good Father. He does not want to see us struggle nor does He approve of us stressing about the small stuff.
We tend to think that we humans can make things happen when and how we think they should happen. We have this thought that we can make the best decisions without any leading from God. Oh, how we get things in a mess when we try to work it out on our own. The saying “Let go and let God” is the best thing we can do when we are navigating new territory in our journey. What He says He will do, He will do. It doesn’t matter what men may think or try to say about it, He will follow through with His promise.
Let us be quick to listen for God and slow to make it happen on our own. Remember God’s Word never fails.
