By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy will not shout in triumph over me. Psalm 41:11 (ESV)

No matter where we are or what we face, the enemy will not be joyful in victory. We are loved by a God that takes delight in us when we take delight in Him. This is the basis of the relationship He wants to have with us. God wants to be close to us because He loves us, therefore, he wants us to love Him. He won’t force us to love Him or be in relationship with Him, but He will delight when we do choose Him.

We will face enemies throughout life that will try their best to overcome our joy, health, and overall life. There will be times when we feel like we are just one flat tire away from being deflated and defeated. We will experience days when we think we are a lost cause because we cannot seem to get anything right. We just know that we stuck in muck that comes up to our necks like a big patch of quicksand. But God!! He is right there to pull us out of that muck and set us up on the solid ground where we can get our footing and keep on moving.

Oh to know that He delights in me even when I am messy. How grateful I am to know that His love knows no bounds when I am focused on loving Him.

LadyBug you are the apple of His eye and the chocolate to His sundae! You can rejoice in knowing that there is nothing that will triumph over you because He loves you beyond the stars!

Let us delight in His love for us and know that the battle has already been won!
