“God Makes A Way, Where There Seems To Be No Way”

On many road trips with my husband, we have seen trees and all manner of plants growing out of the rock of the cliffs, and were always amazed at the perfect set of circumstances that had to come about for that seed to be planted and grow in such a seemingly imperfect environment. But there they are in all their verdant glory, thriving and growing against all the odds. A testament to the impossible.
There are rock cliffs, hard as granite, in your life where it seems nothing could penetrate. Things you have prayed for for so long, and you just want to quit hoping. Because hoping can really hurt sometimes. A lost loved one or co-worker, a surly neighbor or boss. Or maybe a dream you once had, or a healing that seems as distant as the stars.Whatever the person, whatever the situation Remember this- Our Almighty Father is never without goodness and mercy, and never without a plan.“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55: 8-11
So, don’t let yourself be discouraged or deceived into thinking that no seed can grow there. It can. The Master Gardener knows exactly how to accomplish the mission. How to bring about the weather, and wind, and every circumstance into glorious perfection, targeting and planting that seed in the exact location in that rock. Declare His word, trust what He has said, and watch as trees in rocks spring up all around you.He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
