HOPE OF HUMANITY BIRTHED THROUGH DIVINE INTERRUPTION
Wedding plans were probably being made, when Mary and Joseph newly got engaged.
The destiny moment came with a whole new turn of events when simple, ordinary life got interrupted and greeted by angel Gabriel.
Though Mary was chosen by God above, that didn’t make her task any easier. She was called to deliver to us, God in flesh and blood.
It caused her pain, suffering and ridicule when Joseph was ready to leave and go, the angel appeared again to him and talk the matter through.
Still called to love and honor one another, be together through thick and thin. Their love took much higher ground for the purpose of God to prevail.
The very own Son of God chose to bless Mary by taking shelter in her womb and pregnant with His love, she went through fiery furnace and stood the test of time.
The woman favored above all, was overshadowed by the power of the Most High. And that sweet submission to the Holy Spirit revealed her beautiful heart, when on that very cold night the holy child was born.
They snuggled the baby in strips of cloth, laid him in a manger. Not a single room was found for them, no place for them to stay. Even in that discomfort, the unfolding of the plans of God had a mysterious way.
The angel appeared amongst the shepherds, radiating God’s glory, bringing good news of great joy meant for all the people.
The hope of humanity came to us to save the world from sin. The Savior has been born to us in the town of Bethlehem.
Glory be to the God in the highest and peace on earth they prayed, as angels gathered rejoicing and shepherds went on their way. They saw the face of Immanuel, God with us they say.
