The start of new day! Are you thankful for the small things as you awaken to begin another day of opportunity? Did you take time to be still and just say “Thank you Lord?” I know, sometimes the alarm clock rings after the third snooze and you find yourself slinging the covers back and running ninety-to-nothing because you almost overslept. Those mornings are the ones we barely have time to say “Thank You” much less be still. It happens in my house too!
LadyBug it will be ok! We don’t always get the be still part right, but no matter where you are, you can always get the “Thank You” done. God doesn’t mind if we have a chat as we put on our make-up or drive to work. As long as you connect with Him. Talk to Him. He already knows your heart, but He loves to hear your voice. He loves to hear you praise Him and just let Him know He is important to you. He wants to hear you say you “trust Him in all things.”
Being still is always a good thing, but don’t think you can only talk to God when you are still and on your knees. When you talk to Him, that let’s Him know you are thinking about Him. After all, friends love to hear from friends!!
