Warrior, a word we as Christians connect to being strong in the Lord. It is a word we use to describe how we fight the adversary. A warrior of God’s Word, upholding the commands of the Lord and standing strong in faith. But LadyBug, let’s talk about this for a minute.
Now we know we are more than conquerors. God tells us that in His word. Let’s define conqueror. Webster’s 1828 online dictionary defines conqueror as; “one who conquers; one who gains a victory; one who subdues and brings into subjection or possession, by force or by influence. The man who defeats his antagonist in combat is a conqueror as is the general or admiral who defeats his enemy.” Oh, my goodness! Do you see what I see? We are more than one who gains victory, we already have it. We are more than someone who defeats the enemy, he has already been defeated. This is such a great revelation!!
LadyBug, we are not called to fight the enemy. We are called to use the weapons of God. See, when we were made more than conquerors, we were made to walk in victory. The battle has already been won and we know who wins. I know, I know, the Bible says we fight against principalities and that we should wear our armor, but LadyBug, we are using those to cut off the struggles that the adversary tries to use against us, but the battle for our spirit was already won. The battle against death was won and we are victorious because there is not one thing that will take it away or come between us and God’s love.
LadyBug, remember, you are so much more than what this world says, and you are definitely more than the warrior that you have been all these years.
