Love Your Neighbor Challenge — Day 17

July 17th

Nothing is wasted

Christians can have hope in the most desperate situations because we know God uses all things that happen to us, in a way that benefits us. In situations where we have experienced rejection, abuse, difficulty, or illness, we find that our very dependence on God to heal or strengthen us forges a bond that benefits us through a lifetime.

So often, too, it’s our weaknesses and difficulties that create connections with others who struggle with similar circumstances. Then we have the powerful experience of being that mentor on the other side of a difficulty. We can reach in and help others and God is glorified.

What have you experienced that has caused you to have a greater degree of love for your neighbor?

It’s not too late to join our month-long Love Your Neighbor Challenge! This has the power to change your world.
