Love Your Neighbor Challenge — Day 21

Love bears burdens.

Do you know anyone whose life seems wasted? Someone you love who is addicted, in a bad relationship, or who puts herself in harmful situations?

It could be your sister, your daughter, or your best friend and we seem helpless to do anything. Of course we pray, we talk, we offer food and shelter and money and yet, time after time, she returns to the same situation.

It hurts to love her. We do it anyway.

Consider that woman you love the next time you’re confronted by a difficult person. Your light and love toward a difficult person could be an answer to someone else’s prayer. Let’s help the ones in our path and pray that someone else reaches the ones we love in turn.

Could it be that you passed her way as part of God’s divine timing?
