Therefore, we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels provide steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard him. Hebrews 2:1-3 (NKJV)
This is one of those verses that kind of steps on the toes, but really it’s a good reminder for all of us. We must always pay attention to what Jesus is saying to us. We need to remember them so that we remain standing in faith. There is nothing more important and fulfilling than learning and living the Word of God. If the angels provided a strong word to keep us focused before Jesus walked the earth, then how will we escape the snares of the evil if we turn away from the Word? We can’t afford to neglect the gift of Salvation!
We have an entire Bible full of promises from God and red letters from Jesus. These are there to guide us and lead us. They are there to teach us and keep us focused on what is important to us as we raise our children and tend to our homes.
LadyBug listen to the voice of the promises and red letters with all your soul and mind. Know they are the words that will always hold truth.
Let us hear the words that have been spoken time after time.
