For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. Psalm 91:3 (NLT)
Psalm 91 is full of proclamations that we all need to know. During times of turmoil, sickness and pain, this chapter is the strength of God that we can rely on. These are His words to us when we are in a tough spot. This is the song of strength when we feel weak.

During a time of disease, this was my daily reading (most days more than once). When my body was soaked in pain, these words saturated my spirit with hope. When all I could do was cry, God caught every tear with his hands as this prayer escaped my soul. This was the shelter He has for me during the 2nd battle with breast cancer. It was because of this chapter of the Bible that even though I felt weak in my body, my spirit became stronger.
This prayer is filled with truth about God’s everlasting strength, power, peace, and hope. It was in verse 3 that I learned to hold tight to the word of God and His promise. I hung them on the walls of my heart.

There is no trap nor disease that God will not rescue us from. When we call out to Him, He will always hear our voice.

LadyBug I don’t know what you are facing today but rest assured that there is nothing that God cannot do for you at this moment. Watch as He catches your tears, holds you close and rescues you from the hurting you face.
Let us know that God will hear our cries, dry our tears, and rescue us when we cannot rescue ourselves.
