“It is the same today, for a few of the people of Israel have remained faithful because of God’s grace – his undeserved kindness in choosing them.” Romans 11:5 (NLT)

Today we find our hope in the book of Romans. Though it seems that God does not have a hedge about Israel, His Word says otherwise. He had this plan in place long before the world became the chaotic mess that we see today. Long before we knew of the riots, covid, violence and stealing of children for adult gratification, God knew the world would need a plan for salvation and restoration. He also knows that there is a remnant of faithful people who remain faithful regardless of what they see. Because of the faithfulness of those people, God has not turned His back on His children. They are not forgotten children and they are not defeated.

God promises that they will flourish in the right season. We know that God’s word does not return void so any promise that He makes in the Bible, you can rest assured that it will come to pass.
This hope today lets us know that as faithful children of God, we are not a forgotten people and we are not defeated even though the world my try to say otherwise. We will flourish and become a risen nation of God’s people.
