LadyBug, you know those times when you feel like everything is a battle? No matter where you turn, there is something that is trying your patience or just making life messy. Those are the moments that we should be grateful to experience. They teach us patience, hope, and trust. It also lets us know that we are making progress. When we feel like everything is falling apart, that is when we are moving through the promises of God. Though we may feel weary, we are not alone; and better yet, we do not have to fight the battle. All we need to do is give God room and watch Him take on the enemy.
The battle has never been ours to fight, yet Jesus teaches about having a war room where we can prepare the ammo for God. You see, it is in our war room where we form the arrows and prepare the quiver for God to use. Not that He needs them, but the arrows are the words that we speak against the battle. Our prayers are how we prepare the field for battle.
God hears our prayers and goes before us onto the battlefield in order for us to walk in our victory that He has already promised. The Gospel tells us who we belong to and who will fight our battles, our prayers are no longer pleads of help, but rather they are affirmations of our faith in God to fight our battles.
As a woman of God, know your arrows and the target. Let Jesus be the bow.
