Today’s Hope July 10

We have all wondered about being qualified to have a ministry and serve God’s people. Some believe that we have to have the credentials on paper before we can be of any authority to have a ministry. Some believe that the only real ministry is to be a minister in a church. LadyBug do not fall into that belief system. When Jesus called His disciples from the fishing boats, He did not tell them to go get credentials before going out to become fishers of men. I realize that as we have progressed from that time, man has created the rule and the need for the credentials in order to perform certain duties, such as wedding ceremonies. I could get off track here, so let me continue with this thought.
The most important credential we can have as an ambassador of Christ, is to have His characteristics. We are to wear His love and compassion as our cloak so that others will know there is hope for a better future in Christ. We are to be able to offer a blanket of forgiveness so that others will see there is grace to cover them and their broken hearts.
LadyBug do not feel unworthy because some say you need paper credentials. Put on the righteousness of Christ and serve God’s Kingdom as He has called you.
