Today’s Hope July 5th
Sometimes we have people ask, “if God is so good, then why do bad things happen”? Usually there are more situations that follow the bad things part, such as why do children get sick, why am I lacking? Why do I never receive blessings? Why is my life such a struggle? So many times, people just want to know why they have to experience the horrible things in life.
We know that God wants all of us to be healthy. It was said that Jesus took on the stripes so that we may be healed. He came and gave His life so that we may have life and have it more abundantly. Yet, we look around and see so much pain and suffering. How do we help them? How do we teach them how to overcome the struggle of the world?
My sweet LadyBugs do you remember how Adam and Eve ate from the tree in the garden and sin was brought into the world? That is when God allowed man to have choices in the world. God does not bring death, sickness, and poverty to His children. He wants to bring you life, joy, happiness, health, and abundance. But unless we truly give our lives to Him and trust Him even when we cannot see a way out, we cannot truly know the freedom from the world. Though we live in the world in flesh, we must not live by flesh. We have to learn to lay down our selfishness in order to follow God and allow Him to provide our needs and even the desires of our hearts.
His word is filled with promises for us as we follow Him and walk in His ways. When we seek to be like Christ, we gain access to promises of heaven on earth. We have been given commandments to follow not so that God can control us, but so that we can make a choice with our heart and soul to believe, love and follow Christ. Righteousness can be ours when we seek to turn from the flesh and the desires of the world. When we choose to leave behind the acknowledgment of man and pick up our cross, we will experience the blessings of God. It will not be a journey without struggles, but it will be easier to get through the struggles because God will always make a way.
Remember, the evil and bad in the world is not of God, it is of the enemy. God is not a God of pain and heartbreak; He is the God of life and love. The enemy is the one who comes to kill, steal, and destroy and we allow it to enter our lives when we walk in fear, doubt and unbelief.
LadyBugs let’s be quick to speak about the freedom of living a faithful and Godly life in Christ.
