Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. Joel 2:21 (KJV)
We hear it all the time. “Do not walk in the fear of the enemy.” We hear how faith conquers fear and that we always need to speak out with positive statements. Fear is such a joy stealer. It does nothing but cause stress and sickness. But what else would we expect fear to do, since it is the enemy’s weapon and all he wants to do is kill, steal, and destroy? We have got to do better about the fear and intimidation in the world. I am not saying to just run willy nilly about all things and not care. On the contrary, we should care enough to want to be positive. That is where the rejoice part comes in. What better way to rattle the chains than to sing hallelujahs and praises?
When we choose to rejoice over fear, we open up the gates to receive the blessings of peace. Have you ever starting singing worship songs in the face of fear and felt it all leave your body immediately? That is because fear cannot stay in peace. The attitude of rejoice conquers fear every time!! How glorious is that?
LadyBug let your praise be heard and watch the fear dissipate as you sing hallelujah to the King of Glory!
Let us be quick to be glad and choose praise over fear!
Much Love,
