Today’s Hope September 24

For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:5 (ESV)

There is no promise of walking an easy journey in this troubled world. There is no guarantee that the enemy will pass us by. Today we face so much turmoil because the ruler of the earth is not going down without a fight. Even though he loses in the end, he still fights those who walk a Christ led life. That means us. One thing we can count on and sing praise about is the promise that God is always with us.

Just as David sings this psalm about the protection he has because of the Lord; we too can rest assured that we have the same promise. I mean if David can sing this with confidence and expectation, then we are also able to stand and sing the same song. David was a mess at times, yet he truly had a heart for God. It was this heart that gave him the confidence to expect God to be his shelter.

LadyBug even though we have been a hot mess ourselves, we can still be the woman who chases God’s heart and expect the same shelter when we face troublesome situations.

Let us be the woman who love God so confidently that we expect the princess treatment!
